2022 COVID Travel Advisory

Unfortunately, COVID is continuing to create create problems for travel to China, despite the rest of the world re-opening for tourism.  Travel to China is currently not recommended due to strict quarantine requirements and changing situations due to various COVID outbreaks and the Chinese government response.    However, Tibet permits are available for foreign expats already based in China.  If you’re an expat in China thinking about a Tibet trip – reach out to one of the businesses on this site for up to date information and current permit requirements.
