In Tibet, we have more than 470 different species of birds, 82% of birds are in Everest national park. In Lhasa, there are 130 different species of birds. There are almost 40 different species that we seen in our daily life such as Ruddy shell duck, Bar headed goose, Crested Grebe, Black nacked crane, Tibetan snow cock, Black kite and Tibetan eared peasant.
Every year, end of October, the black necked crane move to Tibet. They fly back to other countries at the end of April . One can witness both natural birds and natives prevail in harmony around the valleys and farms of Tibet.
Lastly Tibetan people highly respect nature and the protection of wild life. Because of that the birds flies around in Tibet freely.
